Hello back again with another post from AlQunfudhah for the Saudi Street Project, this time I visited a residential area downtown, the old part of area is not as small as I thought, that’s why I visited the area for 2 days and I didn’t expect to see old alleys & buildings plus seeing a historical building in a good shape right in the middle of the area was pretty nice, not mention meeting some of the people there who were really kind & didn’t mind seeing some stranger walking with a camera.
مرحبا وعودة مرة اخرى لتدوينة اخرى من محافظة القنفذة لمشروع حياة الشارع السعودي، هذه المرة قمت بزيارة حي سكني وسط المدينة، الجزء القديم من الحي لم يكن بمساحة صغيرة كما كنت أتخيل ولهذا السبب قمت بزيارته مرتين على مدى يومين، ولم أكن أتوقع رؤية الكثير من الأزقة والمباني القديمة بالإضافة إلى مبنى تاريخي قديم وبحالة جيدة، ولا أنسى مقابلتي للناس هناك والذين كانوا كرماء ولم يمانعوا وجود شخص غريب حاملاً للكاميرا.
Arriving at the area & seeing all these overhead lines for electricity which are mostly wooden
عند وصولي للحي لاحظت وجود أعمدة الكهرباء الخشبية القديمة في كل مكان
Doors & entrances | أبواب ومداخل
Boys hanging out in their usual spot & beside them chicken & a rooster hanging in a wracked car
بعض الشباب يمضون وقتهم في مكانهم المعتاد وبجانب مجموعة من الدجاج في سيارة قديمة متهالكة
Woman passing by in. the area | امرأة تمشي في الحي
Group of old retired men & the middle one is old mayor of the area according to them
مجموعة من كبار السن المتقاعدين وينتصفهم عمدة الحي سابقاً حسب ما قيل لي
Another boys groups, one inside of the area just hanging out & the other group playing with the ball near the park
مجموعة شباب اخرى الاولى يقضون وقتهم وكانوا داخل احد الازقة في الحي وأما المجموعة الاخرى يلعبون بالكرة بالقرب من الحديقة
Old man is sitting next to his house as a usual daily routine at this time
رجل مسن جالس بجانب منزله والتي هي من ضمن عاداته اليومية في هذا الوقت
