Day 77 – AlHasa

Hello all, today’s is from Hofuf city in AlHasa, I visited a new area for me near the famous AlQaisariah Market downtown, like most of the old areas it had alleys, children playing around and some old men sitting together, the last post from Hofuf was Day 63 – AlHasa.

مرحبا جميعاً، تدوينة اليوم من مدينة الهفوف في محافظة الأحساء، قمت بزيارة حي النعاثل للمرة الأول ويقع بالقرب من سوق القيصرية وسط المدينة، ومثل بقية الأحياء القديمة كانت هناك الأزقة الضيقة والأطفال يلعبون في كل زاوية وكبار السن مجتمعين في أماكن متفرقة، اخر تدوينة من الهفوف كانت يوم ٦٣ – الأحساء.

At the beginning of the walk, I saw this man wearing the head clothe (which is called Gutrah) in this unusual way for the general people in AlHasa

في بداية جولتي رأيت هذا الرجل يلبس الشماغ بطريقة غير اعتيادية بشكل عام لأهل الأحساء

And after walking for a bit I heard the sound of children from one of the alleys, so I headed there and saw this group of kids playing football in the simplest way

بعد مدة قصيرة جداً من المشي سمعت أصوات بعض الأطفال من أحد الأزقة، توجهت هناك ورأيت هذه المجموعة منهم يلعبون كرة القدم بأبسط الأشكال

Women from the area passing by, these two photos together says a lot to me

نساء عابرون من الحي، هذه الصورتين مع بعضهم البعض يحكون الكثير لي

Old men sitting together & enjoying drinking tea

كبار السن مستمتعين في جلستهم سوياً مع شرب الشاي

اثنتين من البنات الشابات أمام مدخل أحد البقالات القديمة والصغيرة الموجودة وسط الحي قبل دخولهم لها

Something I noticed in my walks there were a lot of kids with their bicycles

شيء انتبهت له خلال جولتي أنه كان هناك الكثير من الأطفال بدراجاتهم الهوائية

I met this old man inside a simple & very small grocery shop which is part from his own house inside the area, he talked about that he loved to spend time in this place not to make money but he just feels attached to it, the 2nd photo is the entrance

قابلت هذا الرجل المسن داخل بقالته الصغيرة والبسيطة وهي مساحة بسيطة جزء من منزله في الحي، يقول أنه يحب الجلوس هنا ليس من أجل المال ولكن يشعر بأنه متعلق بهذا المكان جداً، الصورة الثانية هي مدخل البقالة
