Day 93 AlHasa – Residential Area

Hello all, back again with a new post for my Saudi Street project, this time visiting AlHasa again in a new area in located in AlMubarraz city called AlSayaseb, I was in luck for arriving there early because the the area was bigger then I expected, also gave me the chance to walk around before people starting to go out in their usual activities, the quietness of the place with nothing but my own footsteps to hear is quite interesting, and as for the people are just really nice & considering.

مرحبا بكم، مرة اخرى مع تدوينة جديدة لمشروع حياة الشارع السعودي، هذه المرة نزور الأحساء مرة اخرى في أحد الأحياء الموجودة في مدينة المبرز ويسمى حي السياسب، كنت محظوظاً للوصول هناك مبكراً بسبب أن الحي كان أكبر مما كنت أتوقعه، وأيضاً أعطاني فرصة للمشي قبل بدء خروج الناس لنشاطاتهم المعتادة، الهدوء في أزقة الحواري مع سماع صوت خطواتك فقط شيء مثير للاهتمام، ولا أنسى الناس الذين إلتقيت بهم هناك كانوا لطيفين ومقدرين ما أعمله.

First I noticed is the old houses are visible from the main road & this old big door is an example, it’s almost like this was an old shop or small garage

أول شيء لاحظته هو البيوت القديمة ظاهرة من الشارع الرئيسي وهذا الباب القديم العريض مثال على ذلك، غالباً كان هذا المكان محل قديم أو كراج صغير

Hand prints on the walls, I’ve seen this scene a lot in different areas in my past photowalks

طبعات أيادي على الجدران، رأيت مثل هذا المشهد كثيراً في مختلف الأحياء في جولات سابقة

You can’t just go past these old GMC cars, they are relics that remind me personally for childhood memories

لا تستطيع المرور بهذه السيارة القديمة من نوع جمس مرور الكرام، تعتبر من الارث الماضي لكثير من العوائل وتذكرني شخصياً بذكريات الطفولة

2 old men area used to hang out in the evening outside, at that time most people are still strictly follow precautions from covid19, that’s why they were sitting away from each other plus they didn’t want to take the mask for the photo

اثنين من كبار سن الحي اعتادوا على الجلوس خارجاً في فترة المساء، وفي ذلك الوقت لا يزال الناس بشكل صارم يتبعون اجراءات التباعد بسبب فايروس كورونا، ولهذا السبب كان يجلسون متباعدين عن بعضهم البعض وبالإضافة إلى ذلك لم يرغبوا في إزالة الماسك من أجل هذه الصورة

One of the old house that caught my attention, it became lonely with no other house beside it

أحد البيوت القديمة التي لفت إنتباهي، يبدو من النظرة الأولى أن البيت يبدو وحيداً بسبب أن لا يوجد بيت اخر ملاصق له في الجهات الأربعة
