Day 44 – Unaizah Part 5

Hello and Back again with the last part from Unaizah city in Qassim. If you haven’t seen the previous parts please do from here Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 & Part 4. In this part I went very early before sunrise to Friday public market in Unaizah, as some of you know these kind of markets start from dawn for the preparation the sellers do so I wanted to catch all that and the see the market get busy by the hour, it was winter and the weather was very cold. I’ve met a lot of nice people in the 3 hours which I spent it in the market, oh did I tell that in Unaizah there is a palm trees everywhere? In most of the photos you will see it because it’s basically beside the farms. Enjoy!

مرحبا وعودة مجددة مع اخر جزء من مدينة عنيزة بالقصيم. إذا لم تشاهدوا الاجزاء السابقة تستطيعون مشاهدتها من هنا الجزء الأول، الجزء الثاني، الجزء الثالث والجزء الرابع. في هذي التدوينة خرجت مبكراً جداً قبل شروق الشمس إلى سوق الجمعة الأسبوعي في عنيزة، وكما يعرف بعضكم أن هذه الأسواق عادة يبدأ تجهيزها من قبل الباعة من بعد صلاة الفجر مباشرة لذلك أردت أن أكون هناك لكي ألتقط وجود الباعة مبكراً وقدوم الناس للسوق شيئاً فشيئاً، الجو كان بارداً جداً ومن حسن الحظ كانت السماء صافية، إلتقيت هناك بكثير من الناس الطيبين في الجولة التي اخذت مني قرابة ٣ ساعات، أوه هل قلت لكم أن في عنيزة يوجد النخيل في كل مكان؟ في معظم الصور ستشاهدونها لأن السوق بجانب المزارع مباشرة. استمتعوا بالصور

Arrived before sunrise as planned and sellers are already getting their table stands ready for the market, oh yes there are lots of woman working as seller here

وصلت قبل شروق الشمس كما خططت والباعة يقومون بتجهيز طاولات البيع للسوق، بالطبع هناك الكثير من النساء يعملون أيضاً

The temperature was about 7 ° C so it was very cold and everyone is wearing warm clothes, in the photo a woman wearing a small blanket on top of the Abaya

كانت درجة الحرارة في ذلك الوقت قرابة ٧ درجات مئوية لذلك كان الجو بارداً جداً وكان الجميع يرتدي ملابس دافئة، من بينهم هذه المرأة التي تلبس ما يشبه البطانية الصغيرة فوق العباية

It’s quiet usual to see a big difference between 2 sellers and next to each other, they both sell cloths, but in a different scale

 من المعتاد جداً أن ترى فرق كبير بين البائعين وبجانب بعضهم البعض، يشتركون في بيع نفس السلعة ولكن على مقياس مختلف

When you don’t have a table stand to sell

عندما لا يكون لديك طاولة للبيع

You would be surprised how much people are buying those clothes, alhamdullah

ربما يكون الامر مفاجئاً لرؤية هذا العدد لشراء هذه الملابس، الحمدلله على كل حال

It’s not sunrise yet and sellers are waiting for people to come, the hard work just begun

لا تزال الشمس لم تشرق بعد والباعة ينتظرون الناس للقدوم للسوق، العمل على وشك أن يبدأ

The weather is cold and Abu bender is selling ice cream! look there is a line too

الجو بارد جداً وأبو بندر يبيع الآيسكريم! وهناك طابوراً انتظار أيضاً

And the market starting to have some people around even before the sunrise which is almost at the last photo

بدأ السوق يكتظ بالناس حتى قبل شروق الشمس والذي أصبح وشيكاً على الصور الاخيرة

And it’s finally sunrise! A man is carrying by hands 2 chickens that he just bought

وهاهو شروق الشمس أخيراً! في الصورة رجل يحمل دجاجتين بيديه للتو قام بشرائهم

Catching a glance and shadows

إلتقاط تعابير الوجوه مع الظلال

People interacting in the market with the sellers and the different kind of things for sell

حركة الناس في السوق ومع الباعة ومع مختلف الاشياء المعروضة للبيع

Through out my walk in the market, I saw several people who were siting and drinking tea and Arabian coffee, they are nice to anyone who passes by like myself and offer tea and coffee, so I didn’t hesitate to do so, I was aiming to interact with them and listen to their stories then capture a photo for them

في خلال جولتي في السوق شاهدت عدة أشخاص يجلسون بجلسات مع دلال من القهوة العربية والشاي، كانوا اشخاص طيبين ويقومون بضيافة أي شخص يريد الجلوس معهم ويقدمون القهوة العربية والشاي، شخص مثلي تماماً لذلك لم أتردد في الجلوس معهم، كنت أهدف للحديث معهم والاستماع لقصصهم ومن ثم إلتقاط صورة لهم

There were lots of old men working there, of course not all of them allowed me to take a photo

كانوا هناك الكثير من كبار السن الذين يعملون هناك، بالطبع الكثير لم يوافق على الصورة

المساحة الكبيرة من الاغراض التي تم ترتيبها مبكراً على الفجر وسيقوم بإزالتها قبل الظهر

As I was leaving, this was my last scene, look how he carry those chickens!

وفي طريقي للخروج من السوق، كان هذا اخر مشهد امامي، تفحصوا الطريقة التي يحمل بها الدجاجتين
