Day 3 – Dammam

Hello with a new day from the streets of Saudi Arabia. This time I decided to visit the central market in Dammam for old, used and even new stuff. There are furniture in general but also electrical devises and clothes and junkies stuff. It’s cool to go there and find something useful with a cheap price, enough with the talking : )

an old man used to sit behind this stuff, and just watch the people come and go everyday

رجل مسن معتاد على الجلوس هنا خلف البائعين، يشاهد الناس تمضي وتعود كل يوم

بعض السجادات الملونة متراصة فوق بعض

a man is relaxing and chatting with his friends

شاب يرتاح ويدردش مع بعض أصحابه

This old man enjoyed the fact that I’m photographing him while he’s not looking into my lens

هذا الرجل المسن استمتع بحقيقة أنني أصوره على الرغم أنه لم يريد النظر لعدستي

people chatting and laughing and life goes on

بعض الأشخاص في هذا السوق يدردشون ويضحكون معاً

This old man was about to hit me with his stick before he told me that it was a joke from him ! I laughed and took a photo with his small bicycle that he’s selling

هذا الرجل المسن كاد أن يضربني بعصاته قبل أن يقول لي أنه فقط كان يمزح ( حركته كانت جدية بعض الشيء ) ضحكت معه قليلاً ثم إلتقطت له صورة مع الدراجات الصغيرة التي يبيعها

the furniture is all over the place and two people chatting 

الأثاث في كل مكان وهناك شخصان اثنان يتحادثان

You walk peacefully and all the sudden between a broken refrigerator and an old kitchen I see this color !

تمشي بسلام وفجأة ترى هذه الأريكة وبهذا اللون بين ثلاجات قديمة معطلة ومطبخ متهالك
