Day 13 – Qatif

Hello all I’m back real quick this time as I want to publish a new post every 4-5 days so I can reach my target by the end of the year. Here is another old area and this time Qatif. It was a small place but it still has some few old houses. Enjoy it !

مرحبا بكم عدت لكم وبشكل سريع هذه المرة لأنني أريد أن أقوم بنشر تدوينة جديدة كل ٤-٥ أيام حتى أستطيع من الوصول إلى هدفي عند نهاية العام الحالي. هنا لدينا منطقة أخرى قديمة نوعاً ما وصغيرة المساحة وهذه المرة من القطيف. لا يزال هناك بعض البيوت القديمة، استمتعوا !

Day 12 – Dammam

Hello and welcome everyone, this post is special ! why is that? because starting from this post and on I’ll be using a new camera that I bought specially for the street life project which Fujifilm X100s ! I was really excited about it because it was designed for street photography so I happened to run across it and after a long thinking I’ve decided to buy it ! of course my Canon 400D is still around but for other photography stuff beside the streets or maybe I’ll use it if I want to use 2 cameras at the same time. So enjoy this photos captured in Dammam.

مرحبا بكم جميعاً. هذه التدوينة مميزة! لماذا؟ لأنه ابتداءاً من هذه التدوينة سأبدأ بإستعمال كاميرتي الجديدة التي اشتريتها خصيصاً لمشروع حياة الشارع وهي فوجي فيلم اكس ١٠٠ اس ! لقد كنت متحمساً جدا لها لأنها مصممة خصيصاً لتصوير حياة الشارع وقد صدف أنني رأيتها مرة وبعد بحث وتفكير طويل قررت اقتنائها. بالطبع كاميرتي كانون ٤٠٠ دي لا زالت موجودة ولكن لإستخدامات اخرى وربما اقوم بإستخدامها اذا اردت التصوير بكاميرتين في وقت واحد. لذا استمتعوا بالصور في هذه التدوينة الملتقطة من الدمام.

Day 11 – Tarout Island

Hello, I’m here with a new day and an old area from a town in an island in the Eastern Province called Tarout Island. It has a lot of old houses sadly most of them are ruined and not being cared by the government so day by day the old houses there are being abandoned and ruined. The good news that there are still local people live there and don’t or can’t get out of that old area, I’ve gone there and captured the life that I saw.

مرحبا، معكم هنا مع يوم جديد وفي منطقة قديمة من بلدة في جزيرة موجودة في المنطقة الشرقية تسمى جزيرة تاروت. في هذه المنطقة توجد العديد من البيوت القديمة والآثرية وللأسف معظمها مهدم أو مهجور ولا تحظى رعاية الحكومة لذا يوم بعد يوم المباني القديمة هناك تهجر وتهدم. الخبر الجيد أنه لا يزال هناك بعض الأهالي الذين لا يريدون الخروج أو لا يستطيعون الخروج من هناك، ذهبت إلى هناك وألتقطت الحياة التي رأيتها.

Day 10 – Dammam ( rainy day )

Hello again, this is part 2 of my last photo walk after the rains in Dammam. Again I’ve gone out in early morning last saturday after the rain has stopped to capture the life of people around the old market. Of course lots of reflections that you will like so enjoy my work!

مرحبا مرة اخرى، هذا هو الجزء الثاني من أخر طلعة تصوير بعد أمطار الدمام. مرة آخرى اقول انني خرجت في الصباح الباكر السبت الماضي بعد توقف الأمطار لإلتقاط حياة الناس حول السوق القديم. بالطبع هناك الكثير من الانعكاسات الذي ستعجبكم لذا استمتعوا بالأعمال !

Day 8 – Dammam

Hello it’s been more then 2 weeks since my last post, I blame my work ! anyway I’ll try to catch up to reach my goal. This time I went to one of the oldest area in Dammam there were buildings like 50 years old, sadly about 95% of the original resident have already moved out ! and all that left is the forgien workers most are indian and yemenis. So most of the photos are for the area and the some moments that I’ve captured. Enjoy !

مرحبا لقد مضى الان أكثر من أسبوعين على أخر تدوينة، شخصياً اللوم يقع على عملي بالشركة المرهق نوعا ما ! على أي حال سأحاول أن لا أتأخر في كتابة هذه التدوينات حتى أصل إلى الهدف الذي وضعته. هذه المرة ذهبت إلى أحد أقدم الأحياء في الدمام ( حي العمامرة ) هناك مباني قديمة تعود إلى ٥٠ سنة، للأسف الشديد قرابة ٩٥٪ من سكانها الأصلين قد انتقلوا إلى أحياء اخرى وكل ما تبقى هو عمال الأجنبية معظمها هندية ويمنية. لذلك معظم الصور الان هي من المنطقة وبعض اللحظات التي تمكنت من إلتقاطها. استمتعوا !

Day 7 – Qatif

Hello again. First of all I want to say thank you to all who have supported me even with a single word ! It means a lot and it makes me photograph more. Now this day it’s from Qatif in Central Vegetables Market, I went there with a group of other photographers early in the morning to see the auction of vegetables and the daily activity of the salesmen and the old men there. Most of capture are close portraits and capture the details in the face and show you the life in it !

Day 5 – Dammam

Hello all

I’m happy that I’ve got the chance to go out and continue shooting for my project. This day is  another old neighborhood in Dammam, some families still living there from 50 years ago. I walked around for an hour and got to meet very nice kids and old men with the promise to be back with their photos printed. This is what my cam captured there. Enjoy !

Day 4 – Dammam

Hello all

A new day from an old neighborhood in Dammam, I went there with my hopes that I will get good reaction for my photography and asking people for permission, I was amazed how they just not against it. Sure I didn’t get to photograph old people but lots of kids and stuff found there.
